COVID-19 UPDATE

An update for our valued customers:

At Carlton Camping Center, we are committed to ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers and employees. We’ll continue to take extra measures to keep our facilities clean and safe for everyone. 

Steps we are taking to protect you:

  • We ask that all non vaccinated customers & employees to wear a mask/face covering at all times while at our dealership.

  • Employees are required do a temperature each day.

  • Masks, gloves, face shields & hand sanitizer is provided to all employees and available to any customer who may need.

  • Several hand sanitizer stations are set up through out the dealership, as well as in every sales/finance office.

  • Employees are not allowed to come to work if they are feeling any sickness.

  • Staff is working from home whenever possible, including members from sales, finance, marketing, administrative, & warranty.

  • High contact items such as door knobs, countertops, restrooms & phones are cleaned at the end of each day.

  • Plexiglass shields are in place at the register to protect employees.

  • Curbside assistance is available for anyone not wanting to come into our store.

  • Sales are helping the majority of customers virtually via Facebook, Email, Website, YouTube, Zoom, Text Messages & more. 

Here’s how we can assist you:

SALES – Our Internet Sales Department is open. Contact us anytime. All of our units are also unlocked for contactless viewing. 

  • All units unlocked daily 9am-8pm for viewing with information inside. Please sanitize hands before entering.

  • Schedule a Virtual Visit! Using Skype or Facetime, our salespeople can walk you right through the RV of your dreams making you feel like you are there while you sit back and relax from the comforts of home.

  • Schedule a Private Appointment. (Appointments will be scheduled at the discretion of the salesperson and only once your RV search has been narrowed down. Appointments will be made for serious buyers who are looking to buy right away)

  • Secure financing right through our website and have the option to complete necessary paperwork via good old-fashioned snail mail or in person the day of pick up in a safe space. 

  • Come to our dealership & receive a full socially distanced walk through orientation (masks required) we will set your hitching up, show you the features of your unit & then your off to enjoy your new camper.

SERVICE – Our Service Department is currently taking appointments.  We are very busy & backed up in our service department so schedule your RV service appointment today to get in line for Summer camping next year! Here’s how:

  • Call us 989.845.3189

  • Fill out the contact us form tab on our website giving us as much detailed information as possible. We will respond as soon as possible to see how we can assist you. 

  • Drop your RV off right in our service parking lot and leave the keys as well as a detailed note with your full unit information, full name, phone number, home address, email address & information on what work needs to be completed in the Key Drop in our first overhead bay door. (No contact necessary!)

  • Your RV will sit untouched in our lot for a minimum of 3 days – after which we will begin work on your RV in line of the appointments made. (Emergency cases & essential medical staff first & then the rest of our customers as follows by when they made their appointment)

  • Please allow extra time for work to be completed as our staff is going to be very limited and most of our manufacturers and part suppliers are either out of parts, experiencing a large parts shortage or simply not building anything currently. 

STORAGE – You may pick up your unit after payments have been made anytime. 

  • Fill out the contact us form tab on our website, giving us as much detailed information as possible with your name, phone number, what year/make/model unit you are picking up and vin #. 

  • Pay for your remaining balance over the phone at 989.845.3189 or stop into our store during business hours. 

  • Batteries may be dead so bring jumper cables or a jump box to be safe.

PARTS/PROPANE – Our Parts & Propane Department are open & ready to assist you. Please wear a mask while in our store. 

  • Fill out the contact us form tab on our website, giving us as much detailed information as possible. 

  • Complete the transaction over the phone with a credit/debit card.

  • Schedule Curbside Pickup – Schedule a day/time to pick up your part and simply call when you arrive, and someone will bring your parts order out to you.

  • Shop inside our store Monday-Friday 9am-5pm or Saturday 9am-2pm while wearing a mask & following CDC guidelines. 

RENTALS– Our Rental Department is now taking appointments for 2021, book your rental today!

  • Fill out our rental form on our website under the rentals page tab. We accept rentals starting in May of 2021.

  • Complete your RV reservation through email.

  • You can be assured the RV will be cleaned, detailed and sanitized prior to your pickup.

  • Delivery options also available in the lower peninsula of Michigan. Contact us for details and pricing quotes.
